Artists often begin with a blank canvas; authors, a blank page. Like life, there are endless possibilities in art. Through ups and downs, successes and setbacks, in the end, life is what you make of it.
This show doesn’t have just one theme. It can truly be what you make of it.
The show opens with a marchy tune that trudges along through a minor key, perhaps reminiscent of an artist toiling over their work.
The pensive ballad provides a contrast to the opening movement stylistically and texturally.
The closer is an up-tempo romp which could be marched to the beat or half-note, or a combination of the two.
